Navigare Yachting recently hosted An Afternoon With Navigare, an in-person informative seminar in Vero Beach, Florida, led by our Director of Yacht Sales North & South America, Bennett Biever.

During a sunny Friday afternoon in January 2026, the event took place at the lovely Costa d’Este Resort & Spa, located right by the shores in Vero Beach.

During the event, the attendees enjoyed light refreshments and open conversation while learning more about how yacht ownership can be structured for both enjoyment and financial value.

The event proved to be a great success, with meaningful discussions and thoughtful questions from guests who were interested in learning more about yacht ownership from a business perspective. The presentation provided insight into the financial, operational, and lifestyle aspects of owning a yacht within Navigare Yachting’s professional charter program. Here is a recap of the highlights.

Navigare Yachting: Who We Are

Bennett, our presenter, started off by sharing the history and philosophy of Navigare Yachting. Navigare was founded in 2001 by two Swedish sailors with just six yachts and one base in Greece. The business was founded on a disciplined business model that was intended to provide equal service to charter guests and yacht owners.

With nine international bases and a fleet of over 200 yachts in 2026, Navigare has developed into a multinational yacht dealer and charter management company. Three of the original six owners still have yachts with Navigare today, demonstrating the value the company assigns to building long-term relationships with its owners and an emphasis on operational excellence and meticulous yacht maintenance.

Yacht Ownership as a Business

A central theme of the seminar was Navigare’s approach to yacht ownership as a business strategy. Bennett outlined how Navigare guides clients step-by-step through the entire purchase process, from selecting the right yacht to choosing the program best suited for their financial and lifestyle goals.

Navigare offers two main ownership programs, the Worldwide Performance Program and the Guarantee Flex Program, each of which offers flexibility, transparency, and quarterly owner payouts. The Guarantee Flex Program offers predictability with a fixed income, while the Worldwide Performance Program has a higher earning potential and possible tax benefits for US taxpayers. Besides an overview of our programs, the presentation also touched on how charter revenue is generated, the benefits of longer charter seasons, and Navigare’s clear and simple exit strategies.

Global Destinations and Premium Yachts

Guests were introduced to Navigare’s diverse range of charter destinations, including the British Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, Croatia (Dubrovnik and Trogir), Greece, Turkey, Spain, the Seychelles, and Sweden. 

With an established network of industry connections, Navigare Yachting only partners with the world’s most reputable, premium sailing yacht brands, including Lagoon, Bali, Fountaine Pajot, Excess, Jeanneau, Beneteau, and Dufour. When the boat is ordered from the shipyard, the buyer has the ability to choose a configuration tailored for charter, private ownership, or a balance of both.

Bennett also highlighted the flexibility that Navigare offers on the water, as owners have the option to sail bareboat or place a professional skipper onboard, depending on their sailing experience and preferences.

A Strong Partnership with Owners

Since its founding, Navigare has placed a strong emphasis on partnership with its owners as part of its core principles, something that Bennett stressed during his presentation. 

The company manages, maintains, and markets each yacht in our fleet with the same care as if they were our own, with in-house maintenance teams at every base. Meanwhile, owners remain informed through transparent reporting and an industry-leading service platform. This approach helps protect the asset and maintain strong resale value over the full duration of the charter program.
