The Lagoon 46, which replaces the widely popular Lagoon 450, isn’t just another pretty boat; it’s the result of the thoughtful evolution of the Lagoon brand and embodies everything Lagoon is known and appreciated for. It blends modern design with laid-back comfort and somehow manages to feel both high-end and accessible.

Lagoon has been in the game for a while, and you can tell. They’ve taken everything people love about cruising and packed it into a 46-foot sailing catamaran that feels intuitive, easy to sail, and super livable. It’s no surprise this model has become one of their biggest hits since its launch in 2019.

Spacious Living, Inside and Out

Step aboard, and the first thing you’ll probably notice is how open and relaxed everything feels. The flybridge is a winner: it’s spacious, easy to access from either side, and just as good for handling the sails as it is for lounging with a drink and soaking in the view. It’s shaded and protected too, so you’re not roasting in the sun or getting blasted by wind when you’re up there.

Up front, there’s a cozy forward cockpit that doubles as a sunbed by day and a hangout zone by night. It cleverly connects to the salon thanks to big windows that let in tons of light and breeze. Hidden storage compartments in the cockpit mean you can toss in your gear and keep the space organized and clean. Inside, the Lagoon 46 really makes use of every inch.

The salon is bright, with big windows that give you incredible views and that open, airy feeling. Every corner of the Lagoon 46 layout is put to good use; there’s plenty of room and more smart storage than you’d expect on a vessel of this size.

Advanced Performance Through Innovative Design

Performance-wise, the Lagoon 46 benefits from several upgrades that enhance both speed and maneuverability. A key change is the mast position, which has been moved further aft. This tweak gives the boat better balance and makes the sails easier to manage, especially when sailing shorthanded or with a small crew.

Compared to the Lagoon 50, this model is lighter (by about 12,000 pounds!) and much more responsive. It picks up speed easily and gives you that fun, sporty feeling without compromising on stability.
