Innovation and Comfort in Perfect Balance

Inviting flybridge of the Bali 4.4 sailing catamaran

The Bali 4.4 showcases all the things that the Catana brand is known for, brought together in a 44-foot vessel. The architects have paid special attention to comfort, clever design, and easy sailing in this well-balanced catamaran. Sitting between the Bali 4.2 and 4.6 in the range, it offers a mix of generous living space and practical features. Created by Olivier Poncin and designed by Xavier Fay and Lasta Design Studio, the Bali 4.4 catamaran is a great option for both private cruising and charter use.

Space to Socialize and Live Onboard

One of the most noticeable things about the Bali 4.4 is how open and welcoming it feels. Thanks to its trademark lift-and-tilt saloon door and wide sliding windows, the inside connects directly with the outdoors. There’s also easy access to the solid front cockpit area, giving even more space to relax. The elevated flybridge serves both as a social hub and a strategic helm station, with space to lounge and excellent visibility for the captain.

As for the Bali 4.4 layout, you have the ability to choose between a three-cabin owner’s version or a four-cabin, four-bathroom layout that accommodates eight guests comfortably. Skipper cabins in the bow and a table in the saloon that converts to a berth give extra flexibility.

A Seaworthy Catamaran Built for Easy Handling

Behind the comfort and sailing joy of the Bali 4.4 lies a robust, seaworthy construction built by the Catana Group and conceived by Olivier Poncin. It uses a PVC foam sandwich technique with infused fiberglass for better strength and weight balance. Thanks to a shallow draft of only 1.2 meters, the Bali 4.4 gets access to shallow shores.

With two 40 HP engines and large tanks for fuel and water (800 liters each), the boat is well-equipped for longer trips. The lowered boom adds to the sailing experience, making handling easier and improving safety while underway.
