Bali Catsmart

Crafted for those who expect more.

Compact Size, Smart Design

A cuple on the bali catsmart foredeck

At 38 feet, the Bali Catsmart is the smallest model in the Bali catamaran range. Despite its small size, the Bali Catsmart manages to incorporate all the signature innovations and features that have made Bali such a standout name in the world of cruising catamarans. It was designed by Olivier Poncin and manufactured by the renowned Catana shipyard. The naval architecture was entrusted to Xavier Faÿ, and the interior was designed by the experts at Agence Berco design + Piaton.

Aboard the Bali Catsmart, you will discover remarkably well-designed, elegant spaces open to the sea and the horizon. Easy handling, seaworthiness, and a deep connection to the elements are some of the focal points onboard the Catsmart, consistent across the Catana range.

Highlights That Set It Apart

The Bali Catsmart offers many of the features that define the Bali experience. These include the signature tilting aft door and large sliding salon windows, which, once open, transform the salon, galley, and cockpit into one expansive living area, allowing you to feel much closer to the elements.

The swim platform connects to the transom with a large bench seat that has storage underneath. The rigid foredeck provides extra lounging space, while two fully equipped, comfortable helm stations centralize steering and make maneuvering easier. A high freeboard, high clearance on the bridge deck, and bows with straight, fine lines enhance sailing performance and comfort in rough seas.

The Bali Catsmart interior is surprisingly spacious for a 38-footer, with a galley, salon seating for up to eight, and uninterrupted sea views through large windows. The Bali Catsmart layout options include a configuration with four double cabins and two bathrooms, offering ample comfort for up to 8 guests.

Smart, Solid Construction

The Bali Catsmart is built for seaworthiness, onboard comfort, and connection. Its hulls are constructed in a single mold using GRP-infused PVC foam sandwich and polyester resin, with anti-osmotic vinyl ester protecting the underwater sections.

Two profiled keels help minimize leeway and improve sailing efficiency. The rigid front deck contributes to structural strength while the deck itself is constructed with RTM foam sandwich and reinforced with monolithic and plywood elements. Interior and main bulkheads are made with a combination of multilayer plywood and polyester sandwich materials for increased stability and a lightweight construction.
