Innovation Meets Comfort in a 40-Foot Frame

Inviting and comfortable foredeck of the Bali Catspace sailing catamaran

Conceived by Olivier Poncin and designed by Lasta Design, the latest of the Bali range models impresses with its innovations. A new design with soft lines and inverted bows flaring upwards gives her an elegant yet sporty silhouette. A nominee of the 2021 Multihull of the Year, the Bali Catspace is one of the most successful catamarans in its size class.

The Catspace catamaran is the first model with a flybridge in the Bali size range, offering exceptional visibility and relaxation. Characteristic of the Bali range is also the seamlessly integrated saloon-cockpit area that opens or closes to the sea, thanks to the large opening “garage” door that offers a living area worthy of a 45-footer.

Highlights of the Bali Catspace

At just over 12 meters, the Bali Catspace delivers an impressive 70 m² of usable deck space, more than many larger yachts. The rigid forward deck, trademark tilt-and-turn “garage” door, and large panoramic windows create a seamless transition between the saloon and cockpit, turning the entire area into an open, airy living space.

The ability to transform the living spaces and the ability to connect or close off the Bali Catspace interior with the outdoors make it ideal for year-round cruising. It’s a model that combines all the latest innovations in cruising: the integral deck, efficient for sailing, allows you to move smoothly around the various spaces, from the aft platform with a bench seat to the forward cockpit with a lounge and sunbathing area.

The full-comfort flybridge is home to the panoramic view helm station and an immense and safe relaxation area. The galley is fully equipped with, among other things, a full-size fridge and freezer of 265 liters.

Smart, Sturdy Construction

The hulls are built in one part for more rigidity and are made in a GRP-infused PVC foam sandwich and polyester resin. Anti-osmotic vinyl ester serves as underwater protection. Bali Catspace has an anti-leeway plan provided by two profiled keels to limit drag.

The front deck is integrated to provide the catamaran with rigid construction, offering a spacious deck surface. The deck is made in an RTM foam sandwich with monolithic/plywood reinforcements.

Bulkheads are constructed with multilayer plywood, laminated or glued. And lastly, the main bulkheads are made in polyester sandwiches, and secondary multilayered plywood, laminated or glued for strength and durability.
