The Fountaine Pajot FPY 70S is the newest flagship model from the shipyard, with a design that resembles the larger Thira 80. Immediately, its familiar features catch the eye, including a solid forward trampoline, a generous foredeck, and an equally spacious aft section. The stern includes wide transom steps for effortless water access, and a hydraulic platform for the dinghy available in fixed or foldable configurations. The foldable version is popular with captains who need to accommodate a larger tender. Its striking grey hull, paired with the signature Fountaine Pajot solar-panel hardtop, creates a sleek and modern silhouette that draws attention in any marina. Practical storage is built into both sides of the aft platform, complete with capstans, ensuring mooring and docking are easy even in windy conditions.

Layout Versatility and Autonomy in Focus

Adaptability is one of the FPY 70S’s greatest strengths. With up to eight layout options, owners can choose between a galley-up or galley-down configuration, three to six guest cabins, and up to five crew cabins, making the yacht ideal for extended private cruising or premium charter operations. Designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, the FPY 70S catamaran delivers reliable performance and autonomy. Its 7,000 W solar array, 64 kWh lithium battery bank, and generator ensure the yacht can operate quietly and efficiently while underway or at anchor. At 22 meters in length with a 10.03-meter beam and 168 m² of sail area upwind, the 70S is as stable as it is high-performing. Large fuel and water capacities support extended cruising, and, together with the solar panels, it’s a yacht that offers true independence at sea. Every feature, space, and detail has been carefully crafted to create a new standard of living on the water.

Customizable Outdoor Spaces for Different Lifestyle Preferences

Life on deck is all about versatility and enjoyment. The customizable aft cockpit spans 51 m² and serves as a social hub, featuring a dining table to port and a coffee table to starboard. On the starboard side, there is also an outdoor galley that makes alfresco cooking effortless, complete with an electric grill and cold storage. Beneath the central settee, plenty of storage provides space for watersports equipment, dive gear, or beach essentials. Private access to the owner’s cabin is a much-appreciated transom feature common on larger yachts. Above, the 31 m² FPY 70S flybridge, sheltered by a solar-panel hardtop, offers another highly customizable, open-air social space that is sure to become a favorite. Because the furniture is not part of the mold from the shipyard, owners can tailor the layout to suit their lifestyle preferences. The flybridge galley is a nice addition, while the twin helm station ensures excellent visibility and generous room to move about when working the lines. This twin helm station layout, also seen on the Thira 80, is a favorite among captains as it merges the flybridge and the helm station into a single connected social space, inviting guests to join the sailing action or unwind in the lounge area aft.
